Set in the heart of Mayfair, the evening unfolded at the legendary The Dorchester, one of London’s most iconic and historic hotels. Opened in 1931, The Dorchester has long been synonymous with elegance, discretion, and grandeur. Over the decades, it has welcomed royalty, world leaders, Hollywood stars, and cultural icons, becoming a symbol of timeless British luxury. Against this extraordinary backdrop, 300 distinguished guests gathered for a spectacular black-tie gala dedicated to raising vital funds and awareness to combat homelessness.
The evening was not only a celebration of refinement and artistry, but of purpose. Proudly supporting Centrepoint and The Passage, the gala focused on driving meaningful change for those experiencing homelessness. Both charities carry out critical work across the UK, from providing emergency accommodation to long-term support, education, and pathways back into stability. The atmosphere in the room reflected a shared commitment to making a tangible difference.
Guiding the evening with charm and charisma was Joseph Charm, winner of the Golden Buzzer on Britain's Got Talent. His warmth and stage presence set the tone for a night that was both uplifting and deeply moving.
Guests were treated to an exquisite five-course dinner, perfectly paired with exceptional wines. The Dorchester’s renowned culinary team delivered a dining experience befitting the grandeur of the occasion, each course crafted with precision and elegance, adding to the sense of occasion that filled the ballroom.
The entertainment throughout the night was nothing short of world-class. An award-winning pianist and composer, OKIEM captivated the audience with his breathtaking blend of cinematic and classical sound. His distinctive fusion of piano, orchestral richness, and modern synthesisers created an immersive musical journey, powerful, emotive, and unforgettable.
Joining him on stage was an artist who needs little introduction: Laura Mvula, a two-time MOBO Award winner and recipient of the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards.
